

Finley Economic Development Corporation
The Finley Economic Development Corporation (EDC) was created in the early 1970s. Their purpose to promote community and economic development in Finley. Consisting of a five-member board of volunteers who live and do business in the community, their main focus is on the workforce, housing, the establishment of new businesses and industries and the retention and growth of already existing businesses in the city.

Griggs-Steele Empowerment Zone
The Griggs-Steele Empowerment Zone (GSEZ) is designed to give communities genuine opportunities for growth, development and revitalization.

Steele County Job Development Authority
The Steele County Job Development Authority (JDA) is an eleven member local board that are appointed to represent the cities, townships, local economic development entities, and the county commission. These members are committed to the progress and development of the communities of Steele County.
The JDA as well as Steele County itself strive to slow and ultimately end the trend of out-migration, while preserving the small town culture that people love. The communities of Steele County possess a high standard of living, and small town security, that promotes a family-oriented life, a solid education, and energy to recruit new businesses and support jobs for the area.
